DECOR
The mother of an average family struggles to reconnect with her husband and son, as she deals with abusive relationships and failed dreams.
MARTHA HOLM (35-40)- Martha has an obsession with personal hygiene and appearances. Martha passes her days by decorating detailed models of suburban homes; this hobby stems from her failed career as a realtor. She ignores the situations at home, in an attempt to remain in the perfect home she remembers from years ago.
JAMES HOLM (36-41)- James works at a very successful Chrysler dealership. He spends his time playing golf with his friends from work; he is a staple in the community. Everyone knows him and not a single person has a bad word to say. Competition is the single driving force for James.
SAMUEL HOLM (17-18)- Despite his age, Sam’s eyes lack any sense of youth. He is an intelligent kid, yet never seems to excel in school. Sam is aggressively apathetic towards his home life.
No monologue necessary. We will provide sides.
The production is tentatively scheduled for early to mid-June. We are committed to working around your schedules and looking forward to seeing you at auditions!
